Well, I’ve been trying to upstart my blog at motor_racing for a few weeks now and it is doing just ok. I’m now ready to get more traffic to the site to help get more people to view the ads and eventually help me make more money. But how do I do that? I submitted to technorati and configured the sitexml plugin, but still little more traffic is coming in. I even subscribed to news groups, but it seems the news readers don’t like blogs much even if they are totally related to what they’re reading about. So where to turn? What to do? Well, I stumbled upon this excellent writup of so many goodies my head is still spinning. I strongly recomend you read this if you’re serisou about blogging. Check out imhelendt’s blog here. She does anexcellent job of telling where to go and how to do it. I for one hit the rss blog post site as www.getpaidfrom.us has nice rss news ability built in ala wordpress:)
So what you should do is make sure you got the sitexml plugin running and active on www.getpaidfrom.us. Then make sure you go and read the article on where to submit your blog and get to it! Or to quote the author, “just do it”! Nice, thanks for the article imhelendt I hope it works for me:)

Another way to draw readers to your site is to visit other blogs with related content and leave a comment. Make sure when people leave comments, you not only acknowledge each of your commenters but you also visit their sites. Good content draws in readers for keeps.
